* The excursion is a planned visit to the Punkva Caves (September 14, 2017). The average temperature in the caves is about 7-8 °C (44-46 °F); warm clothes recommended.
All payments must be made in advance by a bank transfer or a credit card. Payments on-site are not possible. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required in the event that registration fees were not credited to the ECCO Meeting account on time.

Acceptance of abstracts for oral talks and posters was closed.
Participants are invited to present the outcomes of their research at the ECCO 2017 meeting. Abstracts of oral presentations and posters should be submitted via this website only.
Those authors planning an oral presentation are requested to contact the organising committee in advance (ecco2017@sci.muni.cz) in order to include the intended talk into the ECCO 2017 meeting programme.
All topics related to the microbial taxonomy (e.g. identification, typing, chemotaxonomy), utilization of microorganisms (e.g. biotechnology) and contributions dealing with all practical aspects and administrative demands of the culture collections activities (e.g. cryopreservation, patent strains, the Nagoya protocol) can be presented in the frame of the ECCO 2017 meeting.
